P90X Recovery Week 8 Day 1
Recovery week is here. During this week there is no weight training. It is designed to allow the muscles to recover to peak
strength in preparation for the beating to come over the next few weeks. Do not let the name fool you. Recovery week is not easy. It’s more cardio based and permits the body to recover from the hard resistance training inflicted the few weeks prior.
I have cut Yoga X from my program and replaced it with Stretch X. So, my weeks schedule is:
Day 1: X Stretch (Yoga X)
Day 2: Core Synergistics
Day 3: Kenpo X
Day 4: X Stretch
Day 5: Core Synergistics
Day 6: X Stretch (Yoga X)
Day 7: Rest or Stretch
I love, love, love the stretching.
